I apologize in advance for tempting you further :)
Oh, yeah - those are my nemesis, too. Used be called "Samoa"s . . . as in "Dammit, I gotta eat SAMOA those things!"
But, I didn't buy ANY this year. Yea, me!
@SwordAndSacrifice - I managed to resist Girl Scouts when I was coming in AND out of the store. And they had a puppy. It was hard.
@eugenia - if it makes you feel better, i still eat quite a bit of sweets, just nothing prepackaged. i make it all myself with organic ingredients. :)
Nobody comes to my house anymore. But I was a Girl Scout leader for 13 years, so I've probably had way more than my fair share anyway.
No, what's really the devil is girl scout ice cream. Edy's make Samoa ice cream and it is absolutely amazing.
@TheCheshireGrins - Are you serious?! Oohhh my...I'm gonna have to find a carton! =P
@iStephanieMarie - oooh I've never tried either flavor. I think I'll have to wait until next yr. =\
@eugenia - They also make thin mint and tagalong ice cream
Yes, but I never liked that kind (it's coconut, don't like coconut). My favorites are thin mints (YUMMY!!) and one other kind (can't place the name). The last time I had the second one, I was still in Georgia, so I don't remember. But I still LOVE THIN MINTS!
Yum!
I did not buy Girl Scout Cookies this year. But yeah.....Samoas, Thin Mints, and Shortbread were my favorites in the past.
YES!! mint and samoasssss :D
@sonnetjoy - Girl Scouts with cookies using puppies? Dear, God. What next? The Mormons going door-to-door with Krispy Kremes?!
I always support the Girls Scout...and my big fat stomach.
@SwordAndSacrifice - If their god is the god of Krispy Kremes, I might consider converting . . .
I have searched high, low, and EVERYWHERE in between for those damn cookies, and I can't find a SINGLE box!
I bought an entire case of those coconut ones.....
im not waiting until next year to get em again..
and then my wallet hurt....ugh why inflation why...
i bought some somoas a few weeks ago when i went to the bank. they didn't even ask me to buy cookies. i just walked right up to their stand and bought a few boxes. haha
Those ones and thin mints. They're the best. ♥K
I bought 10 boxes of Thin Mints. I have two boxes left; hopefully I can make them last for a few months longer.
somehow they don't come to sell 'em to me....
GAH!!! I love those cookies!!! Now you're tempting ME!

@quiet_strength@revelife - You are a much stronger person than I. =) I really admire you for having such healthy eating habits.
I love the lemon cream cookies and the shortbread. i couldn't find any girl scouts :(
Oh noes!!! Those coconut cookies are my favorite too, but I'm not a huge fan of sweets so I manage to resist temptation a little :)
